Hi, my name is Patrick Kearns, and I am a massive nerd.

I also happen to be an aspiring writer/content creator.

In the summer of 2014, I started this blog (under the name Empirical Reviews) so I could have a medium through which to convey what I am interested in.

Soon after, a couple of my friends and I started a podcast called "Socially Unbalanced".

Although the podcast is/was a pretty amateur ordeal, I decided I hated the old name, and completely converted the blog into the Socially Unbalanced blog that you happen to be reading right now!

Now my friends and co-hosts Ryan Mains and Dylan Noyes are both authors on the blog (in addition to myself).

We also started a YouTube Channel (also entitled Socially Unbalanced), where you can watch all existing the episodes of the podcast, Nerd Court, as well as any "podclips" that I decide to publish.
